Already, it was over. Sierra watched him get up and head for the door, and only stared for a moment, numb from the sudden change in mood. So quickly it had gone from kissing to "I'll go get that soda now"? She felt strangely dissapointed, but nodded anyway. She didn't want to be clingy.
Then, she slowly repositioned herself to lay back down on Rinoku's bed. Suddenly, she was tired again. But this time, she didn't really fear sleeping. She could take whatever those damned visions would give her.
So slowly she closed her dark eyes and snuggled into the pillow, and she bit her lower lip, noting subconsciously that it tasted like Foxy. Then, she let much-needed sleep take her away.

Rinoku smiled to himself as he sat at his kitchen table, busying himself by snacking on some crackers he had found in the pantry. They were likely stale (they tasted like it, anyway) and were flavorless as chalkdust, but he wasn't paying much attention to the crackers. He was preoccupied watching the auras of his student and his friend, the colors quite interesting and also quite unlike what they usually were for either of the two.
"Way to go, you two."
He murmured to himself, downing the last cracker in the box, and then making his way to the trash can, tossing it. All the while a serene look was upon his face; it was a side effect of his clan's ability, that he seemed to sometimes faintly take on the emotions of those around him. Still, it wasn't far from his mood at the moment. He was glad the two had finally gotten "together", in a loose sense of the term.
It was about time.[/sup]
