Name:
Kakari Ien Takai
Nicknames:
Kari, Kai, Ien
Name meaning:
"Duty Beyond Death"
Ranking:
Chuunin
Age:
16
Gender:
Female
Love Life:
None to speak of.
Eye Color:
Gray-gold
Appearance :
Kakari is about five foot seven with fair skin. She has a kind of gaunt look to her, as if to suggest malnutrition, but that's not it. She's got an extremely thin figure, but that is most always hidden behind a long sleeved, baggy black shirt and baggy, khaki pants that pool around her black shoes. Her eyes are gray, most of the time, with a large golden ring around her pupil. The saying 'the eyes are the window to the soul' rings true for her. Her eyes are deep and sad, and often change color when her mood swings. Her Brown-blond hair is cropped rather short, almost like a boy's, and it sort of curls around her ears. Kakari wears no jewelry, except for a simple quartz crystal hanging on a chain around her neck.
Quote:
"That's too bad...For you."
Personality:
Pretty much aloof and distant, Kari makes herself seem strong. She hates being pitied and people sympathizing with her about her life. She is VERY independent and often stubborn. She doesn't allow herself to trust anyone, afraid of getting hurt. But underneath that demeanor is a child begging for help and just wanting to find something to banish the pain that has made such a huge hole in her soul. She is offended quite easily and is really suspicious all of the time. But if she has lot of sugar, she tends to go berserk and hyper.
History:
Kakari was born to two loving parents along with two brothers, Taka and Ryuo. She was the eldest of the three, and was always the strongest, and gentlest of them. When she was five years old, her father taught her everything to know about their home in the forests of the area where they lived. Every scent of every creature, her father drilled them into her mind. He taught her how to hunt game and how to fight using not only her strength, but also her speed to her advantage. But when Kari turned ten years old, Her family, while they were traveling, was killed by a wandering bandit. Ever since that incident, where Kai only nearly escaped, she has wandered. She searches always for the one that killed her family, feeling nothing but the contempt, hatred, and a deep sadness within her. She has never had a home since. Kakari lived on the streets for some time, trying to find out what to do with her life that she considers useless. She has many scars on her left arm that she hides by wearing long sleeves. She became a Genin at 13, and after training for three years, she became a Chuunin
Other:
She's afraid of spiders, and she hates being touched by other people, because she's scared of being hurt.
Role-Play Sample:
Kakari Takai was curled up in a chair in the corner of the library. Her face was covered by her hair, but if one lifted the veil, they could tell she had been crying. Her eyes were red and swollen, and down her cheeks were tear stains. A book was lain open on her hand. She sighed in her sleep, rolling over, one last stray tear rolling down her face. The book fell off her lap with a soft thump, making the young girl mutter something incoherent and turn over again. The small, black, leather bound book was a diary, her mother's diary...The last memory of her parents.
