"Haha!"
An energy-filled, happy, and hyper yell punched the air, and she smiled. The girl had taken her first step out side that morning, early in the morning, with the sun not to high in the sky, where the air should still be a bitter cold. After all, it was Winter, wasn't it? Or at least that was what her mother had said, and she wasn't sure that she wanted to belive her. She didn't like the winter at all, considering how cold it was. You had to get all bundeled up for no reason, then wander around out in the cold! Training was especially hard, with numb limbs and the cold biting at your fingers. Hard to move them...
If you couldn't guess, Winter wasn't Kisoku Karma's favorite season.
But as she took her first step outside, she was already happy. She didn't have to worry about the cold today, nope nope! The air was wonderfully... warm! It made her want to dance, or something.
... But she couldn't dance; so that was instantly thrown out the window.
But the point was that she was happy. The air was warm, she could feel it! It also had the very slight scent of maybe rain on it - Rinoku-Sensei had taught her to identify rain - And the Winter was never like that. So when her skin came in contact with the warm air, there were only two things she could do: She shed her coat, and laughed.

A tiny, mellow smile came to the blind teen's lips as he walked down the dirt roads of the Village Hidden in the Stars, hands in his pockets. The weather was wonderful today; spring had finally arrived! Rinoku liked the cold, and snow especially, but he liked warmth even more. It was more pleasant, and people didn't have to wear as many layers of clothing.
At the moment, the young jounin was wearing a light-gray T-shirt and gray cloth covering his eyes, as well as his round gray necklace that suspiciously resembled a fish eye. He was wearing khaki shorts, and was wearing the usual ninja sandals for once -- there was no training that day, and he just didn't feel like wearing socks (and of course he couldn't go around bare-foot). His healthy maroon-brown hair hung over his eyes and went down to about his chin, and in his one pierced ear he wore a black stud earring.
"Mnnn..."
He stretched his arms over his head as he walked, and glanced around a bit. Though his eyes were closed beneath the cloth (as it would most probably be uncomfortable if they were open), he could see the colorful auras of others. He dodged a collision with a passerby, and then, after a while of walking, leant against the wall of one of the buildings, soon sitting down. He didn't feel like staying inside today; it was too nice out.

Who in their right mind wouldn't want to be outside indeed! It was the most beautiful day the village had in so long, that even the most hermit-y citizens wouldn't be tempted to wander out into the fresh, rain-scented air. Skipping (Yes, skipping!) forwards a few spaces, twirling. The air rushed over her in the most pleasent way, wizzing through her hair - which, unlike it normally was, had been let down. Now it fell to about her elbows, seeming longer than it was; The genin had just taken a shower not to long ago.
Karma waded through the people hanging around outside; Swiftly dodging small children (most likely Academy Students, unlike her) and the unfortunate adults attenting them. Absently, she noted that some of the babysitters were some Genin on missions. None of them looked paticularly happy, running after children less than half their hieght and quite hyper. She was very glad that she wasn't one of them and that Rinoku-Sensei had agreed to no training or anything for a while.
Speaking of Rinoku-Sensei, there he was! Letting out another loud "Yay!", she bolted off in the Jounin's direction. Yay, indeed. It was known by all that she was quite... well, comfortable in her team-mates and Teacher's presence. Even Sierra, who could be considered a Devil. But then agian, Kisoku Karma was one of the most aimiable Ninja in the village.
Picking up a very quick pace, for her, and jumping into the air, Karma landed right in front of Rinoku-Sensei. A thud sounded from the ground, and she was smiling broadly.
"HI! Wuz up, Rinoku-Sensei?"

"O-oh! Hi, Karma-san!"
Rinoku was slightly surprised by Karma's sudden appearance, but he smiled all the same, glad to see her. He clasped his hands behind his back, a thin blush spreading over his face in a cute way. The warm air was so nice, especially compared to the cold that they all had becomed accustomed to. A nice breeze blew his hair, and he rose a hand to brush some of the brownish strands behind an ear.
"It's a nice day, isn't it?"
He glanced up at the sky, his cloth-covered eyes safe from damage from the sun. He smiled, seeing the light aura of a butterfly flutter by. Then, he looked back at Karma, still smiling peacefully.
"It's really nice."

She continued to smile, and crossed her arms over her chest, smiling broadly. Her eyes were closed for a minute before she opened them agian, caring not for the few strands of hair that fell into her face. Normally she wouldn've gotten irrated, and brushed them aside with a from, but today was to nice to bother about it. Useless, it was!
"Mmm-Hmm! It's really pretty!"
She agreed in her normal, happy tone. She was always so hyped up about this stuff. Always!
... But now that you think about it, she was hyper and happy about everything, so what was the point of the 'this stuff'? Oh, well, she did what she wanted most of the time, and no-one was about to stop her. So ha, whoever was... Uh... Thought they were in control! And plus, nothing in the world was going to stop her from being happy. Not a thing!
Continuing to smile, she began to speak at a rapid, high-pitched rate.
"So, what'cha doing out here? Walking? That was what I was doin'! Until I saw you, and I thought I'd say hi. So hi!"
She only noticed that she'd already said 'Hi' when she finished talking. But no matter!
[ That was a random post. O.O ]

((Haha, no kidding. x3)) He smiled sheepishly at how hyper Karma was. He always felt a bit more energetic with her around; that was one of the things he liked about her.
"Yes, I was walking. I'm glad you stopped to say hello, too. That makes today even nicer."
He grinned a little bit at her, then put his hands behind his back, his grin fading into a pleasant smile.
"I was just headed for the lake, actually. It's a wonderful day, and I like going to the lake when it's warm like this. Would you... like to come, Karma-san?"
He was polite as ever, which really was no surprise to anyone. A light blush came across his face as he requested to spend some time with his crush; he tended to blush at the slightest thing, even self-inflicted events. He shuffled his feet quietly, glancing at the ground. He brushed some hair behind his ear again. That was the thing about having longer hair; it was always falling in his face. His mother would sometimes comment that him brushing it back like that made him look feminine, but of course he wouldn't really know, anyway, nor did he really care what his mother's opinion was. She was just nit-picky.

"You bet!
Inside, she might have well been dancing. After all, it wasn't everyday that she got asked out by the very guy that she had, well, a very obvious crush on. Even if it wasn't really a date, and more of something that only happened because of a coincedence. Still... Rinoku was asking her out to somewhere. This was so exiting!
Her smile was very broad, and a few passerbys must have wondered who died and left the girl a fortune. It was strange, really - The Shinobi's spirits weren't dampened by the thoughto killing or death. It was like an every-day thing for them, as long as it wasn't one close to them or one within their village. Maybe because they were raised where parents were dicussing battle plans, or maybe because they were Shinobi, and that was their nature. Or maybe because when someone was assianated, there were spoils to be collected.
And what was even more strange? The fact that her smile could be connected tosomething like that. Her smile was there for another reason. As the man -just barely so- asked her such a question, her heart fluttered.
The seed of love that was planted in her heart had begun to bloom into a beautiful flower.

A broad smile came to his face. Yes! Awesome! Score one for Rinny!
"Alright!"
He continued to smile, his heart beginning to beat quickly in his chest, and his blush growing. He was going to get to spend some time with Karma... not being a ninja, not being a sensei. Just as a friend. For now, that was good enough. He wanted to be more, he really did... he wanted to be closer to her. Boyfriend. That's what he wanted to be, more than anything. He could dream, but he really doubted it would ever happen... surely she didn't feel the same way about him.
Right?
"Let's go, Karma-san!"
He nodded, hoping that she would follow, and then began to walk in the direction that led to the lake. His head was held high and his back was straight; he felt slightly more confident. Only slightly, but it was a start for Rinoku. ((Jeebus... this writer's block is killin' me.))
