Quote:
"A Blood Bond is a tie that binds you for life."
Personallity:
Chi is mostly calm, liking to watch others from a distance. She always loves to Fight. Fighting gives her a thrill that leads her blood to sing in her veins and excitement coursing like lightning through her. She will speak when she is asked a question, and though she is a proud creature, she knows how to respect her betters. Chi does get angry occasionally, if insulted or mocked. When she does, she will often take her anger out where she will not be observed. She is also mistrustful of men.
Chishio, however, is afraid, more than half of the time. She is afraid of not being accepted by people and being an outcast, or disgraced. She masks her fear, knowing better than to reveal a weakness. She harbors a secret, a secret that makes her irritable if one says something to remind her of it. She hardly ever sleeps, always thinking. When she does sleep, her dreams are filled with images of her past.
History:
Chishio was born with two others, they were her triplets. Haine, Kiara, and herself. She was the third born, but the most able of the two children, since she and Haine were the only two to survive. Chi was up and walking before Haine, and her father, who had hoped for Haine to be stronger and more capable than his sisters, resented the little girl. However, after a while, he began to treat her more as his daugter, watching her, teaching her. Sai, after she began to walk, was always curious, asking her father about everything around her. The mischevious little child was alway launching suprise attacks on her older brother, tackling him from the shadows and wrestling with him. their mother kept her eyes on both children at all times, treating them as equals, and always watching over them.
Chishio showed a great intrest in other creatures and the world around her, always running off, much to the bane of her parents. She'd often run up to the more dangerous creatures of the woodland and look at them until they took a swipe at her, then run away. Her mother and father often warned the child about her dangerous obsession, but she never listened. One day, she was out, bothering a male rouge wolf that was in the forest near her home and began looking at it and talking to it, Loudly. The wolf struck at Chi, causing a scar that runs from her right shoulder to her left hip
When Chishio reached about 9, she began to wander on her own, hour upon hour. When she came back to visit one day, her family was dead. Her father...Her mother...everyone she knew. When she found Haine, he was near to death. When she asked what had happened, Haine told her he didn't know. He hadn't seen. Haine had been mortally wounded in his escape. Chi sat by Haine, frantically tying to close his wounds, until he died. Sai has lived here ever since, showing an aptitude for learning more and more about becoming a ninja, advancing quickly through ranks to become a Hunter-nin.
Other:
To her 'targets' as she so aptly calls them, she is known only as Blood. Most others know her by this as well, because, unless they somehow get close to Chi, she won't allow them to call her anything else. Also, she has never forgotten the stains of blood on her hands from Haine's death, and she has sworn an oath of blood to track down whoever did it and kill them.
Role-Play Sample:
Rain...All around her was the cold rain of the winter, lashing her face in stinging blows that made her close her eyes to keep it out of her eyes. She looked up at the sky, pulling her goggles over her face so she could see clearly. tears, however blurred her normally sharp vision, making the girl unable to see, "Ryko-kun? Are you there Ryko-kun?"Came her voice, soft and afraid, like chimes, nearly drowned by the roar of the hurricane winds. She didn't want to go home. Home was where everyone was saying both she and Ryko-kun had died. But that was impossible! She was standing here now, wasn't she? She was alive and well, right? But then.....why couldn't Ayako-sama see her? Why did mother and father weep so? She buried her head in her hands, running...just running. Her black hair streamed out behind her, silver highlights dampened to a dull gray by the rain, her black outfit clung to her form as she continued to run, away from life, away from home....away from the truth. She collapsed on a park bench, "No....no...I'm not dead....neither is Ryko....he's just gone...of on a trip..."She tried to convince herself that was true, curling up tightly on the bench. Slowly, with a tree hiding her from ther rain's onslaught, Tasuya fell asleep to the rythem of rain on the sidewalk.
When she awoke, all she could see was golden hair and beautiful emerald eyes, "Ryko?"The creature above her smiled and shook its head, "No, Tasuya. I am an Angel. You must come with me. There is no reason for a dead to stay here." Tasuya sat up, throwing a wild punch at the angel, her own tattered black wings shifting in anger, "DAMN YOU! I'M NOT DEAD! SHUT UP! SHUTUPSHUTUPSHUTUP!"She screamed, screwing up her eyes tightly, refusing to believe what the angel was saying, "What have you done with Ryko-kun? WHERE HAVE YOU TAKEN MY BELOVED!?" She snarled, thrusting her fist at the angel's jaw, making contact, and hearing the satisfactory crunch that told her she had broken it. The angel looked at her, a sad look, "I will come back in a month, Tasuya, maybe you'll accept your own death by then."
Tasuya broke down and cried in front of the angel, "Why me? Why Ryko? We never did anything wrong! Why did Kami-sama decide to kill us? We followed him faithfully? What has happened to Ryko, my love, where is he?" The brilliant entity looked at the girl, pity in his emerald orbs, "Kami-sama did not wish you and Ryko to die, Tasuya Imaedegawa. You were innocents. You were happy. You served him properly, without overdoing it or asking anything in return other than true happiness, however the black side of Kami-sama wanted you dead. He did not like the way you and Ryko were, so he pulled you apart, destroying your marriage with him, causing him to be killed in an accident...and you to slit your throat, committing suicide, in your grief over your love. Your soul is still pure, and so was his. He awaits you in heaven, Tasuya. Will you come with me?" Tasuya looked at the angel, "I will."
She took his hand and flew with him, into the clouds and to the Gates of Heaven, where she was greeted by the familiar smell of cinnamon and roses, and where a shadowed figure looked at her smiling, "Welcome Home, Tasu-chan."
