The 'Dogs' of Hoshi
Hoshi, or the Village Hidden In Stars, has a very unique fighting style when it comes to canines. Canines, in other villages, aren't held in the highest regard- Snooping around, stealing food (This goes only for those who are not in the Inuzuka, forgive my spelling, Clan). Not the best, huh? Annoying creatures, when not trained to be perfect pets. But in Hoshi, it is different. Much different.
Every dog is trained as a Western Police or Military Dog would. To fight. Any dog without a collar, any dog with a collar. They are trained to fight. As soon as they are old enough, litters are taken from mother dogs, and trained.
This may seem quite harsh, but for such a small, vulnerable village, it can make all the differance. And it isn't like the training is exceedingly harsh, either. The trainers - Normally specially trained Chuunin and sometimes Jounin - try not to be to sharsh on the poor pooches.
